Sacred Serpent | How To Give Food To An Animal That Will Not Eat ( Basic Recipe ) @SacredSerpent | Uploaded May 2023 | Updated October 2024, 1 week ago.
In this video I am going to show you a very basic recipe for making a high calorie liquid food that can then be put into a syringe or turkey baster, & then administered to your pet. In this video I am going to show you the dog recipe. You can do something very similar with store bought cat food. Ideally, you are going to make this formula from ground beef, beef or chicken liver, fatty meat, raw eggs, & quality whole milk. Goats milk will be ideal, but if you cannot find it locally, whole milk from cows will work just fine. Internal organs can be added & are recommended. I will make a video showing exactly how I make the liquid formula from ground beef in the future. For multiplicities sake, I am going to show you how to make the formula from 2 raw eggs, whole milk, and a can of dog food. I was going to use peanut butter in this formula, but decided to leave it out because Luna had already had peanut butter in her breakfast smoothie.
This basic and easy to make formula will ensure that your dog is getting enough calories.
The ingredients are as follows:
1 Can Blue Buffalo pate dog food
2 Raw organic eggs
Whole milk.
I added 100 mg Magnesium citrate to this formula. I give this to Luna daily because it helps calm her cushings down. Turmeric, as well as other supplements such as the Cosequin I talk about on this channel can be powdered and added to the formula to ensure your animal is getting the supplements that you normally give it.
Make sure to start by adding a bit of whole milk. Increase the volume of whole milk until you reach the desired consistency. If after blending all the ingredients together the formula is to thick to suck into your syringe, simply add more milk until it reaches the desired thickness. You want it semi thick, but not too thick. If the formula is too thick your animal might have difficulty consuming it.
