On the morning of 7 August 1985, Jeremy Bamber called the police to his family home at the White House Farm in Essex. He claimed his father had called him saying his sister, Sheila, had "gone berserk". Police arrived at the White House Farm to find a horrific scene: other than Jeremy, the entire Bamber family had been slain, including Sheila's young twin sons, in an apparent murder-suicide committed by the mentally unstable Sheila. However, things were not as they seemed at first glance.
Please note that this programme was made in 1995. Jeremy Bamber remains in prison, despite multiple appeals. He maintains his innocence.
