Anime Matsuri in 2022 opened their artist alley on day one for the first time ever on limited hours from 4pm to 8pm. Many people came to the alley despite the small amount of booths open and ready to sell arts.

The Ministry of Otaku was one of them, and was one of the few (and possibly the only) independent journalist that documented what happened 4 days was spent recording what happened.
