“Analog” seems to be the word of the year for 2026, with tons of people online sharing how much they want to disconnect from their phones and screens. The trend, while having some strengths and acknowledging real issues with tech, misses the main problem with modern technology– *how* it’s utilized. Today I’ll be discussing the trend and how it demonizes phones, perpetuates misinformation, and promotes beliefs antithetical to the movement. Let me know what you all think.
