Hey what’s up guys, OSG here, and welcome back to The Amiga Years.

This time we’re moving into 1989, and the Amiga is really starting to feel like the machine most of us remember.

The library is getting stronger now, with racing, arcade conversions, point-and-click adventures, shoot ’em ups, strategy games, sports games and some proper Amiga personality starting to come through.

In this video, I count down my Top 20 Amiga games of 1989, including Stunt Car Racer, North & South, It Came From the Desert, Battle Squadron, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Maniac Mansion, Rainbow Islands, Silkworm, Sim City, The NewZealand Story, Populous, Kick Off and more.

This is a cracking year for the Amiga, and you can really feel the machine building towards its golden run in the early 90s.
