Hey whatsup guys OSG here with a real retro treat. Yesterday I received an email from a developer asking if I would like to check out his early progress on a Super Mash Bros tribute game on the C64… well I’m not going to lie here but I often get mails from devs asking the same thing and 99 times out of 100 I’m left feeling a bit let down…but then every now and again like with Chaos Engine a while ago and Puzzle Bobble more recently I am pleasantly surprised.
This is Awesome Slam Siblings by Søren Trautner Madsen who has developed some new games like Limbo and Inside
He also has a self published game on Steam called Zero-G which can be found in the links below as well as being part of PRESS PLAY ON TAPE - the commodore 64 revival band that do some great covers of C64 games I've also put a link to their Ghosts N Goblins cover below which is awesome
