The Legend of Zelda at BIT LIVE 2023

Hypa-Ball / Mission A.D. / Doctor Who at BIT LIVE 2023

pressplayontape 2024-12-11 | Somehow the same game company released two very different games in the same year, but both had this shuffle-feel tune. They weren’t even composed by the same guy. (You can also watch the entire concert: youtu.be/pkP0tcCbwuo )

We added the Doctor Who theme to the original arrangement for a gig at a science fiction convention in Copenhagen in 2007. Minutes before we went on stage, the organizers announced an all-you-can-drink vodka party in another part of the building, so turnout was “sparse”. But the one guy attending it actually recorded this first ever performance: youtu.be/m16wG96AIOM .

The Secret of Monkey Island at BIT LIVE 2023

One of our earlier performances, at a demo party in Norway, we were just about to play this when the organizers decided that the rank sceners needed some fresh air. So they opened two large gates to let in some air.

At the time we were still playing to sheet music and the air circulation generated was so powerful that all the sheet music went flying all over the place. Thank god there was no recording of the event! (Yeah, this was before cameras in phones became an everyday thing.)

Commodore 64 boy band song (Comic Bakery)

This tune is an "off the mill" boy band song about love to our beloved C64. At one point we figured "What c64 tune would be great if interpreted as a boy band song?" The answer was Comic Bakery written by Martin Galway.
