The Amell family is a noble family from Kirkwall in the Free Marches whose bloodline dates back to the Fourth Blight.

◘ Marian Hawke ( Charlize Therone) : She's Champion of Kirkwall, an apostate mage.

◘ Leandra Amell (Jessalyn Gilsig): She is the mother of Marian, Bethany, and Carver. Her family, the Amells, are nobility in Kirkwall. Leandra shamed her parents by eloping with the apostate Malcolm Hawke and running away to Ferelden.

◘ Bethany Hawke ( Kristen Stewart) : is Hawke's younger sister and Carver's fraternal twin, an apostate mage. She was killed by orge.

Others:
◘ Morrigan ( Eva Green) : Morrigan is a Witch of the Wilds, one of innumerable sorceresses whose legends originate in the Korcari Wilds. She is called upon to leave her home to become a companion to the Warden.
◘ Meredith Stannard (Lena Headey) is the Knight-Commander of the Templar Order in the city of Kirkwall.
