Lucius Tarquinius Superbus - otherwise known as 'Tarquin the Proud' was without a doubt the worst king of Rome. Whilst Rome did only have 7 kings (some of which are legendary in nature), Superbus stands out as being arrogant, violent and maybe even a bit mad.
