The Pontins Holiday Park in Prestatyn closed in 2023 after decades of operating. Today the park is silent and awaiting its next move.
In 1973, after 4 successful years on TV, comedy series On The Buses produced 3 feature films. One of these was Holiday On The Buses made in 1973. The 'action' moves to the boys taking a bus driving job at a Welsh Holiday Park, but also working there is Inspector Blakey.
Although we cannot get into the park to explore it, there are still some obvious locations recognisable over 50 years later.
