Most players stuck at 850 don't have a technique problem — they have no framework for choosing a shot. Four questions, every tee: where's the biggest gap, can I throw a hyzer, can I throw something overstable, and can I do it at my stock speed. I held myself to them for a full round on a day my backhand was genuinely bad, which is the whole point — this isn't about making good rounds better, it's about raising your floor.
