What are the benefits of being recognized as an honoree?
The Civic 50 is the preeminent corporate social impact recognition program that creates a roadmap for companies committed to using their time, talent and resources to drive social impact in their business and communities. It provides value to companies by helping:
1. CSR teams create a roadmap for evaluating, improving and scaling their social impact and community engagement programs;
2. Senior executives easily communicate their company’s commitment to addressing social issues that are important to key stakeholders and investors;
3. Marketing and PR teams showcase their company’s positive community and social impact; and
4. Employees connect with and celebrate their company’s community engagement and social impact work.
Which companies are eligible and is there a cost?
There is no cost to take the survey. Public and private companies with annual U.S. revenues of at least $1 billion can apply.
I don't think my company will rank in the top 50. Is there value in still taking the survey?
Yes! Companies continue to tell us that they use the framework and questions to help drive their social impact planning efforts and to ensure they are thinking comprehensively and aligning with best practices from the sector. Additionally, every company that takes the survey receives a free scorecard report with benchmarking data across each dimension. Please also note that we do not publicly publish the list of companies that take the survey and do not rank in the top 50.
