This year, the United States Mint released a special edition of the Peace Dollar to commemorate its 100th anniversary. The coin is struck in 3 nines fine silver and has an uncirculated finish, making it a beautiful addition to any collection.
The Peace Dollar was first minted in 1921 and was designed by Anthony or Antonio de Francisci. The coin features Lady Liberty on the obverse and an eagle on the reverse. The 2023 edition is minted at the Philadelphia Mint and is priced at $76.
Production of the 2023 Peace Dollar is limited to 275,000 coins. Each coin comes encapsulated and packaged in a single, elegant black box with a sleeve and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
