Not quite! As much as we'd love that, even in 1995 BOSS had a very large presence across the world. That being said, our guitar-tone-loving engineers wanted to create something new and exciting for players, and at the time there was nothing around that sounded as amp-like as they wanted. Enter the Blues Driver.
Which is why today, 30 years later, many other pedal designers credit the BD-2 as one of the special ones that kicked off their journey building their own. We're very proud of that.
