Perfect quilt blocks don’t happen by accident—they happen because every unit is trimmed accurately before the block is assembled.

In this video I demonstrate why trimming every component of a quilt block matters. Half-square triangles, flying geese, and other units can all come out slightly different after sewing. Those tiny differences add up quickly and can leave your finished block the wrong size.
