Raw acoustic cover of another Bon Jovi b-side that should’ve been on the main album. Would’ve been a perfect end to the new “Forever” album. Lyrics are too relatable for me right now as usual. This might be the last cover I do from my childhood bedroom as my BF’s house settlement is tomorrow and I’ll slowly be moving out!!

RIP Duncan Gardiner. He was my guitar teacher from year 10 who made me fall in love with the classical guitar. He was a local performer and composer whose passion for music and kind heart was infectious. He was the first guitar teacher who encouraged me to play the pieces that I actually liked, and made the classical guitar a beautiful instrument that sings instead of being a stuffy, robotic instrument that old or rich people played. The capo I use in all my pop covers was actually from him. Hell always have a place in my heart.
Ive played many of his compositions at concerts, but this Dreamcatcher Suite was always my favourite, especially the final movement, Burn. I think he wrote this suite in 2007. I performed it in my 3rd year guitar recital at UWA in 2012.
