PlayStation just had their first State of Play Japan, focusing on games coming from Japanese and other Asian developers, as well as a couple bits of interesting Japan exclusive news. While the game news was pretty hit and miss, we did get some interesting updates for games like Octopath Traveler 0, Dragon Quest VII Reimagined, Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls, and even the reveal of some new Elden Ring Nightreign DLC. What's really caught my eye though is this new hardware news, including a PlayStation branded monitor and a new PS5 model made only for Japan. Here's my thoughts.
