After 8 long years since its reveal, Metroid Prime 4 finally released last week to some interestingly mixed reception. What new things it tries to do are hit and miss, and at the end of the day doesn't do all that much to remix the core familiar formula, but it's a formula that still works and ultimately is a good time.
