Interesting comparison between a 40m Off Centre Fed Dipole (Ant 1) and a 40m 1/4 wave vertical (Ant 2). On this occasion, listening to HS72KING in Thailand, the vertical was clearly stronger and had a lot less background noise. Both 40m antennas tune on the 15m harmonic.
