In 2015, Valve released the Gun Mettle major update for Team Fortress 2. Alongside the addition of weapon skins, contracts, and new maps (Powerhouse, Borneo, Suijin, and Snowplow), Valve also quietly uploaded every mapmaker's favorite tool: bspzip. With this new update, bspzip got the ability to compress maps and save a tremendous amount of disk space. Every map since Gun Mettle has been subjected to this compression and it's worked wonders... but what would happen if the same was done to every single map in the game?
