TF2 recently experienced its all-time peak of players again with the release of its Summer 2023 update on July 12. With this massive peak, it's hard to discern whether the number is returning players with nostalgia, new players curious about the game, or both. There's never been a better time than now to start playing, so why not get a newbie's opinion of the game? I invited fellow official mapper @zythe_ (of Selbyen fame) with me to introduce @MaltMilkshake to the world of Team Fortress 2.
