Light Force FTL 1986
A beautiful vibrant shoot em up with not a trace of colour clash to be found.
However, here's where my biggest frustration lies, the difficulty seriously spoils the enjoyment of those stunning graphics. The game ramps up aggressively, with enemy patterns, collision detection and limited lives. The gorgeous visuals make dying even more annoying you just want to keep admiring the scenery, but the game often won't let you progress far enough to fully enjoy them without near-perfect play.
Playing this nowadays you'll need some thick rimmed and rose tinted glasses.
