Taito’s 1989 block-matching gem arrived on the Speccy in 1990 courtesy of Ocean, and it’s an absolute joy.You guide a little hand to pick up and drop coloured blocks, pairing identical ones so they vanish and everything above cascades down. It’s deceptively simple, yet the chain-reaction puzzles get fiendishly clever within minutes. Puzznic is timeless, tense, and still ridiculously playable today.
