Geobrugg | TestTuesday No. 20: Mud science - made in Japan @geobrugg | Uploaded September 2024 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Geobrugg tested a landslide barrier with rigid posts on a test site in Japan. We are proud of our first successful test of shallow landslide barriers outside Switzerland.
Several dozen people are involved in this project. Special thanks go to Japan to our local partners TOA Grout, Kyowa Dengyo (measurement technology) and Ayoagi Construction. And, of course, to the entire Geobrugg Japan team with NobuhitoNishimura, AndreasFröhlich and many more. Also, thank you, Andreas Lanter, for technical support in Switzerland and on-site and, above all, to Matthias Denk, who is in charge of the whole organization and setup of this test series!
Are you curious to find out more? This is just the beginning. We will test more systems and keep you updated!
