Our flexible shallow landslide barriers made from high-tensile steel wire protect roads, residential areas and railway lines. The landslides were simulated by releasing large amounts of material. Test barriers are set up at the end of the acceleration zone to study not only the acting impact and filling loads, but also the interaction between the filling material and flexible barriers, and to investigate the occurring dynamic and static loads.
