We are proud to inaugurate our first #high-tensile steel wire mesh production facility on the African continent! A second TECCO® mesh production machine will be added later this year.
Wian Strydom, General Manager of Geobrugg Southern Africa, announced a 22 million rand investment in the new facility and an additional 15 million rand to expand the production capacity. “We plan to continue investing and expanding our processes,” says Strydom.
Geobrugg employs 85 people in #Lanseria/South Africa. The local production of the #TECCO mesh will streamline the value chain and reduce costs for the customers. This will help make Geobrugg Southern Africa a company, empowering the local population and strengthening Geobrugg’s position in the construction and mining sectors.
