\Witness the dramatic test conducted on the UCSD shake table as part of the Converging Design Project where a six-story mass timber build faced the Loma Prieta Earthquake X 150! Mass timber shear wall panels stood firm on one side, while Simpson Yield Link Moment Connection and Brace Connections were put to the test in the other direction. Despite facing MCE level earthquake, this building survived remarkably well. Employees also had the unique opportunity to tour inside after the shake event (once it was deemed safe) to view this groundbreaking project firsthand. bit.ly/3VxpQPx
