Not the best video, but it may provide a bit of helpful info for anyone looking into switching to the white poly belts, especially if you have a similar cantilevered cartesian setup. I wanted to test a few different types of timing belts to see how they would effect ringing/ghosting/ripple, but as it ends up, I could only get ahold of two different types, and it didn’t do much to help the problem.

I have enough belt that I can test it in the future on a machine with a kinematics platform that may benefit more from a stiff belt with good damping (like maybe a Core XY machine if I get around to building one), but for now, I’m going back to the old fiberglass-neoprene belts.
