This video demonstrates how to test for moderated mediation (for a model containing a single moderator and parallel mediators) using Hayes' Process macro (processmacro.org/index.html) - with a focus on Models 7 and 8.

*Warning and suggestion: This presentation assumes you already have a reasonable understanding of moderated regression and mediation. If you are unfamiliar with these procedures, you will likely find this discussion difficult to follow. My suggestion is to review those other concepts first prior to tackling moderated mediation with Process Models 7 and 8. Dear viewers: I was made aware (and have experienced myself) a few issues with using the menus interface with SPSS version 27 (the most recent version). Version 26 is what I used in this video. I was recently informed by Professor Hayes of an alternative approach to generating McDonalds omega that can be used with SPSS version 27 (or any for that matter), which can be an effective stop-gap, until the programming issue gets resolved on the drop-down menu approach.
