This video is designed to give SPSS users who are interested in learning R and very basic introduction to how to set up and manage dataframes. Although I typically import data from other programs (rather than setting them up in the fashion shown here), I also felt that this would provide SPSS users with a better sense of how data can be structured in R. Additionally, the video is intended to provide a very general orientation to the object-oriented language of R. In this video, I use RStudio for the illustrations, but the commands I provide in this video work with the basic R interface.

Dear viewers: I was made aware (and have experienced myself) a few issues with using the menus interface with SPSS version 27 (the most recent version). Version 26 is what I used in this video. I was recently informed by Professor Hayes of an alternative approach to generating McDonalds omega that can be used with SPSS version 27 (or any for that matter), which can be an effective stop-gap, until the programming issue gets resolved on the drop-down menu approach.
