In the last episode we talked about basic geometry and retro glow effects. This is the sequel so we are going to step by step model a low poly starship and animate it shooting at fictive stuff and doing some crazy manoeuvers.
We are going to experiment a little bit with unorthodox modeling techniques and learn how to use the reapeater to create mirrored geometry. Then we are going make it shoot LASERS using the offset... In fact mastering this could allow you to create your very own low poly 80s retro spaceshooter cinematic for your the indy game your are working on right now and dont have the budget for high end 3d software render.
We are going to party like its 1989. Are you ready?? I hope so because its been since around that year that I have been itching to create this kind of animation.
