Rosario Szuplat is an Argentinean double degree student in engineering from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). She was awarded an Alumni Scholarship from the Fondation Mines-Télécom.
She has studied electronic engineering at the UBA engineering school, which is one of the most prestigious universities in Latin America. The Master in Engineering at Telecom Paris was then the best fit for her because it focuses with deep and recent research on the subjects she wanted to specialize in: Data Science and Big Digital Infrastructure.
What Rosario particularly appreciated at Télécom Paris was the quality of the courses, which are up-to-date and have business-oriented content. Thanks to the small group teaching, she has been able to receive prompt guidance from attentive professors. Another asset of Télécom Paris is its proximity to companies. She participated in the "Forum", which was an excellent opportunity to meet more than 20 companies in person and even have lunch with recruiters.
She loved studying in a modern and lively environment, with state-of-the-art laboratories, a cosy library and a beautiful courtyard. At Télécom Paris, Rosario has gotten to know students from all over the world and to understand their cultural backgrounds. She has enjoyed the parties and other social and cultural activities offered by the many student associations. Finally, living in the heart of Paris at the Cité Universitaire in the Maison de l'Argentine, 50 minutes from the campus, has also been a great experience.

![[Ideas] Improving image quality of 3D mammography through AI (eng sbt)
Artificial intelligence no longer merely offers diagnoses or interpretations: it is becoming a decision-making tool, capable of self-assessment and identifying its own limitations.
The work of Arnaud Quillent, PhD in artificial intelligence for medical imaging from Télécom Paris, illustrates how AI can not only improve the quality of medical images, but also strengthen clinicians confidence in these new technologies. At a time when the use of AI is booming, it is undoubtedly an asset in the fight against breast cancer.

How does AI differ from other security applications?
Katarzyna Kapusta, a PhD in applied cryptography from Télécom Paris and a research and development engineer in cyber-security at Thales, where she heads up the Friendly Hackers team, talks to us about the challenges, threats and innovative solutions for securing AI.
