When Jesus was tested, He did not cry out, because He knew the answer is always in the word of God. Jesus passed His test and anointing began to flow. When you pass your test, your test will qualify you for a promotion, your promotion will qualify you for a reward and your reward is what makes you one with a difference.
Beloved, not every voice that sounds spiritual is scriptural; not everyone who uses God’s name is sent by God. God’s Word commands us to test every spirit—not by emotions, titles, or miracles, but by truth. Does glorify Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior? Does it align with Scripture? Does it produce holy fruits such as love, humility, obedience?
Anything that draws you away from Christ, creates fear and panic, or contradicts God’s Word, is not from Him. People of God, Stay anchored on the Word of God, stay led by the Holy Spirit, and sharpen your discernment.
Prophecy is the communication of God’s mind and heart to people, delivered by the Holy Spirit through a human vessel, according to God’s timing and purpose. Biblically, prophecy is not just predicting the future. It is God speaking now; sometimes about the present, sometimes about the future, but always for the glory of God. The question now is, Is every prophecy from God?
Prayer: Say Lord Jesus Christ, sharpen my discernment. Help me to recognize Your voice and reject every counterfeit, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
