Vegas stuffed up a lot of the effects, and rendered them oh so terribly wrong, so I got rid of most of them, and even in this final render it stuffs up in some parts, but I'm happy with it nontheless. I think Tess is one of those characters who really gave the show the energy it needed to last another three seasons -- I'm kind of disappointed she may not be in the Season 11 comic books, simply because she was such a complex and interesting aspect of the series. Honestly, when you look at Smallville, you see the Kents and the Luthors, and while Tess was NOT a replacement for Lex, she carried the Luthor aspect for the last three years, and did a marvellous job of it. Now, while we didn't learn she was a Luthor until the final season, now knowing who she really is -- well not WHO, but where she came from -- you can see her carrying that side of the story in S8/S9.
Season Ten, as a whole, is not a great season. However, its built up with AMAZING moments. One of the best aspects of that season was Tess Mercer, and I think anyone who says otherwise is -- well, I could slap them. The whole Luthor element of that season was so fascinating to watch. A rapidly aging Lex Luthor. Lionel from another world returning into ours. Tess learning about her origins. That whole feud between Tess and Lionel -- seeing those two together in a scene just screams EPIC. It kind of makes me want to see what it would have been like if Lex and Tess were in different places - you know, if we got to see Tess/Lionel in the first 7 seasons, and Lex come in later in the game. Of course, that couldn't happen, and I love Lex and his evolution, and his role on SV, but damn. The Tess/Lionel stuff was probably my favourite thing about Season Ten (and yes, even above Chloe's arc).
Anyway, I hope you enjoy! I love this character sooooo much. I hope she somehow works into Season 11, because she's just so damn awesome. Feedback, as always, is very much appreciated. I always read everything you guys leave, and I try my hardest to reply whenever I can. But I love the feedback, good or bad, and I just hope you enjoy it! XD

HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY ASHLEY!
I wanted to make something a bit different for you this time around, and while I want to hopefully make you another video before your birthday comes up, I really wanted to make you a Chlex video! Youre one of the most awesome people I know, and talking to you always makes my day SO much better! You really are an amazing person, and I hope your birthday this year is as wonderful as you are. I really hope you enjoy this, and I hope I have enough time to make you one or two more videos! *wookie hug*
THE STORY (in chronological order)
Lex is slowly spiralling down a dark path, after nearly killing his father, and losing his friendship with Clark. Chloe, who believes that Lex just needs someone in his life who loves him and believes in him, takes Lionels life, and breaks him out of prison. The two runaway together, and eventually get married, before returning to Smallville.
Somewhere along the way, Chloe receives a vision from the future where the man that she loves has become a monster, and shes helped to create it. So in order to prevent this, Chloe leaves Lex, and plans for a divorce. But, when Lex comes to her for help, she is drawn back in, only to be caught in a setup Lex has ordered for Tess to kill Chloe.
In a brawl with Tess, Chloe is shot, and left for dead, but eventually winds up at Metropolis General, where a regretful Lex visits her. Hoping for her survival, Lex waits by her side, when she finally awakens. The two embark on a wonderful life together, happy, in love but its all a dream - a dream that will never happen, as Chloe passes away.
Clark, who uncovers that Lex is responsible, confronts Lex with a rage, and the feud between Superman and Lex Luthor begins. Desperate to reunite with the woman that he loves, Lex commits suicide, and drives off the bridge, handcuffed, into the ocean. In his near death experience, he finds Chloe, waiting for him, and offering her hand. However, Lex doesnt take it, and finds himself waking up in the hospital. Alone. Forever.
Kind of depressing, I know, but I had this idea, and I just wanted to see how far I could go with it. Ashleys love of Chlex inspired me, and I wanted to make this for her. Ashley, I hope you enjoy it! I love you! Youre awesome! And have a great birthday!! XD")
