Hi everyone,
I unfortunately had to take my Lemaire croissant bag for a repair.. and I'm gutted to report that the repair job was butchered and horrible. I had to take all the stitches out, which left large holes all over the strap and cover them with my scrappy "repair efforts" - I covered them with yellow thread I had laying around at my home.
Hope you guys learn from my mistake and only take your handbag to TRUSTED leather craftsman for repair..
While I'm sad this happened I am content with my amateur repair and that I am still able to carry the bag.
