Here I test the work I've done for the first two phases of a new boss I'm working on. Note that phase 2 is not done yet: I still need to add special threshold abilities for each boss. The boss will have 3 phases in total, with the 3rd phase being the hardest.
Even though I use expert accessories, this test was done in normal mode (trust me, watching expert mode will give you a heart attack).

Hard Lotus and all the bosses past it actually have good rare drops. In the past Ive avoided freezers and used only minimal buffs for my solos, but because I really want those drops Im allowing myself to use anything I can get my hands on for Hard Lotus and up.
Anyways, other than health, the main differences Hard Lotus has over Normal Lotus are:
- Seemingly double the debris falling from the sky.
- The small blue debris causes stun.
- Everything does a lot more damage.
Each of these individually arent that bad. But when you combine all three of those together, in addition to all the annoyances from normal mode (5 lives), you get one of the most difficult, unfair, RNG-infested fights in the entire game. This is the reason Hard Lotus is considered to be even more difficult than Hard Lucid for full parties of six.")
