Homemade Science with Bruce Yeany | Tennis ball + Basketball momentum // Homemade Science with Bruce Yeany @YeanyScience | Uploaded 6 years ago | Updated 3 minutes ago
A very simple demonstration involving a tennis ball placed on top of a basketball and then dropped from a height. The result is a tennis ball that shoots up to 9 time the original height. Fun and easy to replicate and is a simple demonstration of the transfer of momentum through collisions between the two objects. What can replace the tennis ball to get better height? I'd love to have you try it yourself and report back your findings.
