A very simple demonstration involving a tennis ball placed on top of a basketball and then dropped from a height. The result is a tennis ball that shoots up to 9 time the original height. Fun and easy to replicate and is a simple demonstration of the transfer of momentum through collisions between the two objects. What can replace the tennis ball to get better height?
