We were fully prepared for a Tennessee winter storm — ready to help if conditions got bad and the community needed it.
While the storm didn’t turn out as severe as expected, we still put our equipment to work clearing the main road by the shop and the parking lot. With special permission from Huddig, we had one of their machines on standby, making sure we were ready before the storm ever arrived.
From there, the day turned into a mix of real-world work. We headed up in the manlift to check things out from above, then finished the day with a recovery mission down a snowy, icy mountain road to pick up a skid steer. Nothing was broken or damaged — the rental period had simply ended and it needed to be recovered for the next customer — but the road conditions definitely made it interesting.
