Ghost Month is here, which means people in Taiwan are especially susceptible to paranormal activity. A supposed "headless woman" terrified templegoers in Taipei on Friday morning. Wearing a pink dress and walking slowly past Xingtian Temple, at a distance she looked as if she had no head at all. The reality is simply that her head was bent almost completely forward. But passersby were stunned nonetheless, with one person admitting it took a double take to realize her head was actually there. Doctors say the unusual posture could be linked to neurological, muscular, or spinal conditions, so despite the spooky timing, there's no ghost story here.
