A quick little video of the Macintosh port of Temple of Apshai released in 1985, published by Epyx and ported by Westwood.

At first, the tune seems to be using a single square wave channel, but that quickly evolves into a complex polyphony of the 4-tone synth of the Macintosh Sound Driver (still using mostly square wave instruments, but up to 4 at once now).
