This was originally called "Back To You" A slightly different version was uploaded a year and half ago.. This version is a bit more streamlined, forgoing a lot of adorning production I often throw in the cake. what sparsely added instrumentation other than the guitar; I contemplated for quite some time not adding them at all and keeping this as basic as could be.. As to the title "Tempest" well the new A.I. calling the shots and all our lives told me to call it this-go figure, who am I to argue with our master
I was not planning on sharing this for a month or so, but that nagging feeling came over me to release it now.. perhaps the accumulative feeling of strife infecting our sphere.. For this song, I will be keeping it's meaning closely guarded.
This song will also conclude the Masquerade project and a new direction of force, feel and thought will be turned to "Serenity"
Useless info- so yeah, I do keep better guitar maintenance and always cut the excess string off, but the three high strings,I always leave long for a day in case I have to restring them. Old habits hard to break.. So yeah these are brand new strings D'Addario NYXL's, it was the resonance I was getting off of them that inspired to play this song again.
