In this video, I show how to repair the Dallas DS1742W NVRAM in a Tektronix TDS 3000-series oscilloscope. I am repairing a Tektronix TDS3012-B, but this applies to the entire family of oscilloscopes, including the TDS3052 and so on. Instead of replacing the full module, we just replace the battery and write the required data to it.
