WARNING there are very high voltages inside 2,000 volts or 2KV for short. These are LETHAL voltages!
NEVER leave a scope unattended with children or pets around and the cover removed or the with the power applied to it!
Also if you are not an experienced electronics technician get someone who is familiar with servicing equipment that has high voltages present before removing any internal shields!
*** Update: *** The jumper at time index 4:08 through 4:33, is not the CAL Jumper, it's actually in the top left corner of the same board, as it was a SN above B050000. You can find it in the 2445B through 2467B manuals on Fig. 10.5a & b. Location of the jumper depends on SN. The name may be either J501 or P501 depending on SN. Sorry for the oops! Thanks Manuel Meseda who commented on the location error. (The jumper in the slide show is correct for SN's B049999 and below.)
*** Description: How to remove the cover on a 2400 Series Oscilloscope with some CAL and Maintenance Notes. If you learned something please give the video a thumbs up. If you would like to help my channel please subscribe. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya
