This is a great cast-on for toe-up socks, and I also use it for my soap sacks. By using this method, there's no need for a provisional cast-on and grafting to close the toe or bottom of a bag. You'll be able to begin working in the round immediately, and then tighten up the cast-on row later on to reflect the gauge of the surrounding knitting. It's pretty magical when it all comes together and the cast-on completely disappears!

This one is a little longer than my usual Teeny Tinies, but that's so you can see the yarn and stitch management, because I think that's a huge part of this cast-on.
