This video shows how hold both yarns in the left hand while knitting the stranded knitting method of colorwork. The yarn held to the left is in the dominant position, which means it will pop a little more in the finished piece. Remember to hold the same yarn dominant throughout! To keep the stitches from bunching up, spread them out as you work. Stranded colorwork is traditionally knit in the round.
