We have already seen the vast difference even a small heatsink can make, which was improved with a larger heatsink with forced cooling. So we decided trying it submerged in water was the logical next step....
Of course the excess heat generated by the board could be used to add a slight bit of warmth to e.g. a home brew project, where the heat is re-used to keep the beer slightly warmer.
