In this video we show how you can easily send Notifications to your Phone or PC with a simple HTTP Request.
The NTFY Service can be used for free, with no login required, to forward a simple HTTP request as a notification to the app on your smartphone and/or PC. This makes it very simple to achieve on a wide range of boards, with no 3rd party libraries needed for this specifically.
You could use this to send updates on a timer, or trigger when part of your home automation senses something, or even to remind you to water your plants!
The Visual Micro Serial Debugger can also be used to debug your setup over Serial or WiFi, as well as the preconfigured range of Hardware Debuggers.
