(English below) Longplay de Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game, juego lanzado para Nintendo NES en 1990 en Japón (1991 en el resto del mundo) y desarrollado por Konami, basado en la famosa franquicia de la Tortugas Ninja. Como deja entrever el título, se trata de una adaptación a las posibilidades de la NES del juego de salones recreativos.
Este es para mi un juego muy especial, ya que fue el 3er juego que jugué, y el primero que compré con mi propio dinero, debía tener unos 9 años. Así que he querido hacerle un longplay para el canal. Lo he jugado varias veces hasta que he logrado terminarlo sin usar ninguna continuación.
Hacía mucho que no lo jugaba, y en su día siendo aun novato en esto de los videojuegos, solo lo podía acabar con ayuda de un amigo en cooperativo, o con el famoso "código Konami", el truco que te proporcionaba 20 vidas si no recuerdo mal. Es decir, nunca he sido realmente experto en el juego, por lo que este gameplay no pretende mostrar una partida perfecta y habrá decenas o cientos de longplays de este juego en Youtube que lo hagan mejor, pero este es mi gameplay, y por lo menos lo ofrezco con muy buena calidad visual.
Hablando de esto, está grabado en 4K y uso un shader que suaviza un poco los gráficos e imita un efecto CRT, que creo que queda muy bien. Para que se vea bien recomiendo ver el vídeo en un monitor a pantalla completa. El juego, por cierto, lo juego en RetroArch con el core Mesen.

Longplay of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game, a game released for Nintendo NES in 1990 in Japan (1991 in the rest of the world) and developed by Konami, based on the famous Ninja Turtles franchise. As the title suggests, it is an adaptation to the possibilities of the NES of the arcade game.
This is a very special game for me, as it was the 3rd game I played, and the first one I bought with my own money, at about 9 years old. So I wanted to make a longplay for the channel. I played it several times until I managed to finish it without using any continue.
I hadn't played it for a long time, and back in the day, being still a novice in this videogame thing, I could only finish it with the help of a friend in cooperative, or with the famous “Konami code”, the cheat that gave you 20 lives if I remember correctly. I mean, I've never really been an expert in the game, so this gameplay doesn't pretend to show a perfect gameplay, and there will be tens or hundreds of longplays of this game on Youtube that do it better, but this is my gameplay, and at least I offer it with very good visual quality.
Speaking of which, it's recorded in 4K and I use a shader that softens the graphics a bit and imitates a CRT effect, which I think looks very good. For it to look good I recommend watching the video on a monitor in fullscreen. By the way, I play it in RetroArch with the Mesen core.
