Wow uh, quite a history behind this round! Me, cashlost and b33 have been wanting to do a 3-way with eachother for 2 and a half years, both players I’ve been wanting to play in general for even longer. Cashlost is someone who Ive always felt a close bond to, and in recent months it’s even elevated into a cute semi-romantic relationship between us! B33 on the other hand has been one of my all-time favourite YTPers for a while now, her music choices and penchant for technicolour crust makes her a truly one of a kind artist I deeply respect
I was…rly fast with this, I find it rly funny how I’ve been waiting to make this serve for 3 years only to finish it in the matter of a few hours. I’ve genuinely been dying to make this serve for so long, there’s so many serves and matches I have so many ideas for but I end up having to restrain myself to not overwhelm myself with an abundance of shit on my plate, and with this serve being one of the primary itches I’m rly glad I finally get the chance to get it out now as I ride off the waves of my sparklecare/technicolour phase and round 6 vs nonojuju, a round that this serve reuses bits of
In 2023-24 my ideas for this serve were originally a lot more ambitious and “trapezoidium” focused. During my recent surge of motivation I’ve decided to largely cut down on that and make this more freewheeling and suitable/adaptive to both players styles, still keeping much of the previous ideas i had but recontextualizing them in this newfound greater picture. I think I did a good job expressing the common ground I have with both opponents, and overall I think this match is gonna be something truly special, one to remember 💜 I’m psyched as fuck and I think this serve is one of my best videos in a while
