After servicing this 2017 radio it was time to test it.

Mr Chippie drove along our usual 6-mile test route, the 'wrong side' of a hill. He stopped at the five mile point for a low power static test. The radio was set for 3.5W on full power. These sets have no low power feature. The factory original mike was used throughout. Squelch sensitivity was poor at 1.6uV, receive sensitivity is under average on this (& quite a few other Team & Jesan) sets.
Our continued thanks to Thunderpole for kindly supplying the T3000 radio (and new mike) which is fitted to the test vehicle at no cost to us. This is the sole reason for the 'paid promotion' marker on this video.
